Both team have entered the post season in good form, with the Bears on a four-game winning streak and the Eagles on a three-game winning streak.
Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who is in his second year in the NFL, will be playing his first playoff game.
But Bears head coach Matt Nagy is confident Trubisky can handle the pressure.
“He just handles adversity,” Nagy said.
“He knows how to run this offence now. He’s at a point right now where he calls a play in the huddle, he can start looking at the defence rather than looking at the offence.”
As for the Eagles they will be led by second-string quarterback Nick Foles.
The 29-year-old replaced Carson Wentz after he suffered a season-ending back injury.
Having a back up quarterback might be a concern for most teams, but for Foles this is common ground.
Last season he led the Eagles to Super Bowl victory and picked up the MVP award in the process.
Philadelphia’s tight end Zach Ertz believes the Eagles have hit form at the right time.
“Last year was unbelievable. This year we had to battle for each and every win.
“There were games when we were up 17-0 and couldn’t find a way to win, 17-3 couldn’t find a way to win, 29-16 lead last week against Houston and needed a two-minute drive to win.
“Guys battled each and every week. It’s hard to win in the NFL.
“I feel like we’re peaking at the right time.
“We won five out of six against some really good football teams and that’s all you can ask for right now, a chance at the postseason.”
Many experts favour the Bears to take the victory when they face off against the Eagles on Sunday.
