The French maître d’ has become a favourite among First Dates fans over the years. He took on the front of house role for the first series of the show, back in June 2013. Tonight, he will return to the small screen, as he stars in the second series of the BBC show, My Million Pound Menu. The restaurant-themed business programme sees participants pitching three ideas in the hope of securing an investment from experts.
As well as his TV career, Fred works as the general manager of Michelin-starred restaurant Galvin at Windows at the London Hilton.
Having grown up in France, he previously worked front of house in one of the country’s Michelin-starred restaurants.
Fred later took on a role at La Tante Claire in London.
Alongside his successful career on and off the small screen, in 2016, Fred released the book First Dates: The Art of Love.
It followed his release of a music track with Level 42 star Mark King and rapper XO MAN a year earlier, which was titled La Vie Continue (Life Goes On).
Back in 2012, on Christmas Day, the TV star also launched National Waiters Day – which celebrates the work of front of house restaurant staff.
The father-of-two has clearly explored many different branches of his profession over time.
But, just how much money has he made from all of these opportunities?
While many people may be interested to find out the TV star’s net worth, unfortunately, it is currently a mystery.
The only thing that is known, is the average salary for a restaurant fromt of house employee.
According to the website Glassdoor, the national average stands at around £27,142, however this could be more for those working in London and/or at a senior level.
What’s more, Fred may have seen a higher income over the years, due to his roles on the TV and other opportunities.
Fred has also worked with chefs Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo in the past, on the ITV show Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.

According to Forbes Magazine, he could have a whopping net worth of Forbes the chef has a net worth of $62 million – which equates to around £48.8 million.
