Melania Trump, 48, and Donald Trump, 72, returned to the White House on Sunday night after spending the weekend in Florida following their Thanksgiving celebrations with their family.
The First Lady fought off the cold for their journey home, matching her husband in a longline navy jacket by Stella McCartney.
The chic coat buttoned from the neck to the waist, revealing a glimpse of her casual jeans beneath.
It also featured pretty a pink stripe around the collar of its v-neck design.
She paired the smart jacket with a pair of knee-high navy boots with a chunky heel, and stand-out red leather gloves.
The wife of Donald Trump looked as glamorous as always, styling her brunette locks into subtle waves tousled around her shoulders.
The couple were accompanied by their son, Barron, 12, as they touched down on the South Lawn.
Melania had seemingly changed her outfit while on Air Force One, after she was pictured stepping onto the plane in a navy jumper with her coat in hand.
Barron was also wrapped up warm upon their arrival, wearing a navy blue puffer jacket with jeans and trainers.
The mother and son’s casual appearance was worlds away from their Thanksgiving display on Thursday.
For dinner at the Mar-a-Lago Resort in Palm Beach the Trumps got dressed up to the nines, with Melania arriving in a black lace gown.
The racy number is a Dolce and Gabbana gown which would have had a price tag of around £1,800.
Melania has worn the ensemble before, during her visit to Israel last year.
Despite being a completely see-through design, the 48 year old protected her modesty by wearing a black slip beneath.
But upon their return to Washington the mother of one switched back to her warm wardrobe and got into the festive spirit.
Sharing a snap of the White House’s decorations, Melania gave a sneak-peek inside their residences on Twitter.
Mrs Trump commented: “Thank you to all volunteers from across our great nation who are working hard to decorate the White House.
“Can’t wait to view it all tomorrow night.”
The official White House Christmas tree was delivered last week by a horse drawn wagon.
The President and First Lady circled the fir tree together, with Trump appearing to nod in approval.
