Melania Trump wows in figure-hugging dress for internet conference

Melania Trump, 48, chose to display her slender figure at the Family Online Safety Institute Annual Conference in Washington, arriving in an elegant grey dress.

The wife of Donald Trump wore a long-sleeved dark grey dress which clung to her slim physique, highlighting her gym-honed limbs.

The classic dress was a fitted style but featured subtle pleats at the skirt to show off Melania’s fantastic shape.

It also had stylish stitching detailing around the bust and waist, drawing attention to her toned figure.

Completing the low-key look with her golden brown locks styled into effortless waves around her face, Melania looked demure and professional.

As always, she styled her get-up with a sky-high pair of heels and heavy makeup.

The spotlight was on Donald Trump’s wife for the conference, as the 48 year old gave a speech about staying safe online.

As she took to the microphone she showed off smokey eye makeup with a sweep of silvery shadow above her lids.

She’d also opted for a dash of rouge on her cheeks and lashings of mascara on her eyes.

Melania toned down her glamorous look with a pretty pink lipstick and a touch of highlighter on her prominent cheek bones.

During her speech, the First Lady told attendees she does not care about the “negative words” addressed to her, but she instead uses them as a motivation to encourage responsible behaviour on the internet.

She said: “It is not news or surprising to me that critics and the media have chosen to ridicule me for speaking out on this issue, and that’s okay.

“I remain committed to tackling this topic because it will provide a better world for our children.

“And I hope that, like I do, you will consider using their negative words as motivation to do all you can to bring awareness and understanding about responsible online behaviour.”

Since Mrs Trump spoke out against “destructive and harmful” social media use last August, she has been victim of huge criticism and mocking, given her husband, Donald Trump, routinely attacks people on his Twitter account.

In a recent interview during her solo trip to Africa, the First Lady claimed she is a victim of widespread bullying.

The First Lady told ABC News: “I could say I’m the most bullied person in the world.”

The interviewer, looking rather surprised, then questioned: “You think you’re the most bullied person in the world?”

Mrs Trump softened her answer and replied: “One of them. If you really see what people are saying about me.”

Former First Lady Michelle Obama harshly criticised her successor’s remarks during an interview to promote her upcoming book, claiming Mrs Trump should stop complaining.
