Butler has been a source of controversy this season, as he approaches the free agency period at the end of his contract.
The star took a swipe at media this week when he was asked about how many back-to-back games he will play.
Butler played in the Timberwolves 116-99 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
However, he has been very coy about the amount of game time he will see for the Timberwolves, as he reportedly looks for a way out of Minnesota.
The Timberwolves play the Lakers on Wednesday night, before travelling to Sacramento to face the Kings on Friday night.
Butler missed Sunday night’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers, before returning last night to face the LA Clippers on Monday night.
Will Jimmy Butler play against the Los Angeles Lakers?
Butler is likely to play against the Lakers.
He missed the Trail Blazers match, sticking to his word about not playing in back-to-back games.
After playing 39 minutes against the Clippers, he didn’t pick up any injuries, and therefore is likely to stay in the team to play on Wednesday night.
What has Jimmy Butler said?
After the Warriors game on Friday night, Butler explained that it is his decision about how many back-to-back games he plays.
“I let them know,” he said.
“They don’t know how my body feels.
“So if I’m nicked up, then you can count on that.
“I don’t know. We’ll see how it goes.
“I don’t know what we plan on doing [on Saturday].
“Obviously, I got to get some treatment along with a lot of other guys.
“But we’ll see whenever Sunday and Monday gets here.”
